Dubai Chamber workshop to examine means of mitigating - AME Info

With its well-designed presentations, the workshop will be conducted by Ms Laya Aoun Hani, Senior Associate, Habib Al Mulla & Company and Zahi Younes, Partner, and Hani Naja Associate, Baker & McKenzie, who will give an overview of UAE franchising laws, setting up a franchise and the challenges and risks associated with franchising and how to mitigate them.

Targetting Dubai Chamber members, managers, lawyers and legal professionals, investors, contract administrators, SME owners and business executives and corporate counsels, the workshop will also deal with agency versus franchising in the UAE, as well as key considerations in drafting of franchising contracts.

In its concluding part, the workshop will discuss a practical scenario and explain how franchising litigation works in practice. The workshop is intended to be interactive giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions throughout with a question and answer session to conclude the session.
